EUROPE'S CAPACITY TO ACT BEGINS WITH TRUST.
From security and technological change to migration and democratic resilience, Europe’s challenges transcend borders. Yet the leaders working to address them rarely have the opportunity to build trusted relationships across countries.
The Weimar Fellowship brings together leading professionals from politics, business, academia, and civil society in a structured, trust-based framework for dialogue and cooperation. Together, they develop new perspectives, launch joint initiatives, and build lasting partnerships across the Weimar Triangle.
WHAT IS THE PROJECT ABOUT?
BUILDING TRUST ACROSS THE WEIMAR TRIANGLE
Bringing together outstanding mid-career leaders from France, Germany and Poland, the Fellowship strengthens trusted relationships across the Weimar Triangle, creating a foundation for long-term European cooperation.
LEADERSHIP FOR EUROPE’S FUTURE
Designed for professionals with a proven track record of achievement, demonstrated leadership experience, and the potential to take on greater responsibility, the Fellowship brings together individuals who are likely to shape public life, institutions, and society across Europe in the decade ahead.
FROM TRUST TO LONG-TERM COOPERATION
Through three in-person modules and year-long collaborative project work, Fellows develop joint initiatives that can continue beyond the Fellowship year, forge trusted relationships, and join a lasting trilateral community that endures long after the programme concludes.
